Very Nice
Great looking bike! I agree - '93 and '94 can come play here too!

Duck888LTD,
Yes it is. I purchased new in 1994 from Cycle Riders Ducati in Longwood Florida (that dealer, like most in Central Florida regardless of product line carried, are now defunct). I have had only a voltage regulator crap out and after 14k miles, the 888 currently resides in my dining room

Nice!
I bought #88 new in 1994 from a now also defunkt dealer in IL. For some stupid reason I sold it in 2001 and it went to California. I recently found the owner on the 851/888 forum and he sold to a guy in Belgium.
Earlier this year I tripped upon #61 for sale and I had to have it. You never see LTD's around as there were so few produced and brought into the country. I paid way too much for it, but was worth every penny.
I am still kicking myself for selling #88
I rode #61 yesterday and it rides like a dream. I don't know of another bike that feels as good to ride as the 888. I don't blame you for putting it in your dining room, but I will try to ride mine as long as I can. Parts are getting impossible to find.
Take care,
Tom

yes indeed parts are becoming difficult to find, especially body panels..... fortunately my tail/seat section has none of the stress cracks that are very common... unless someone approaches me with a wheel borrow full of cash, #0094 aint go'in nowhere !
and on a rather fortunate sad note, I feel bad for those who purchased the 16RR for the $60k+ that most paid for them, only to see the value of the 16RR tank over the past year and by next year when the warranty expires, the value of the bike will be 1/3 what they paid for it..... and ever see what a replacement body panel for the 16RR cost ?
.. but for us 1994 888 owners, we can easily expect to recoup 2/3 for the purchase price when selling .... 16 years after the fact....

I made a buttload on the sale of #88. That is the only reason I sold it. That guy told me that he made money on me when he sold it. Finding the right buyer is the key. Part of the problem is that there is NO information on the '94 LTD's. It is like they never existed. When people don't know anything about them, they get grouped into the market of the earlier SPO's. For someone who knows the production numbers and rarity of the LTD's they will pay more for them.
