Default Ducati Museo/factory question??

Hey fellow Ducatisti..

I have one day/night in Bologna next July on my way to the Amalfi Coast with my wife. I wanted to visit the Ducati museo and factory while I am there.. For those of you that have been to the museo, how long did it take you to receive a confirmation from Ducati that you were booked for the tour? I have submitted the reservation request 3 times and have heard nothing.. My first submission was in late December 2009.. I am just wondering if I am worrying for nothing.. Thanks in advance for any feedback..

We were there in October 2008.

As I recall, the confirmation for our reservation came fairly quickly. Certainly not months later. Maybe you should call there, if you're worried.

Tour is well worth it, for sure...

Thanks SJC..

They actually responded within a few hours after my last request last night.. I am confirmed for July 27th!! I can't wait. I was told, if you bring your Ducati Owners card, it only costs 5 euro for tour.

Do you have a good ristorante recommendation? Bolognese and a super Tuscan Red on in the cards for that night. Staying at a hotel near the Bologna Termini, so I will cab it over to Ducati. I'd like to see pics and hear of experiences from you all for those who have been there.. I see there are a couple of threads on the topic.

Thanks!
Enzo

FWIW they didn't charge anything for the tour the times that I went...

All the times I've been there (used to live there when I worked for Lamborghini) I would stay at a fantastic hotel/restaurant in the small town of Rubiera, just outside of Modena (which is just outside of Bologna). Absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants, in all of my travels. It's called Arnaldos...

Factory tour was great (you could also try to find time to visit Lambo, Ferrari, etc....)

I'll dig up some pictures of when Wifey848 CDUC and I were visiting about a year and a half ago...

Default Help

Anyone who can answer this question,

I would really like to do this trip also, when I visit Italy this November. I would like to tour Ducati, Ferrari, and Lambo factories. How did you sign up? Tour guides? etc... any help would be greatly appreciated!

I already have my sleeping arrangements and flight itinerary set. (not finalized)

Thanks!

Brandon
