My GF manages properties for a LARGE corporation... some of her colleagues that deal with residential priorities were just talking about this last week...
They were telling her that in the Chicago suburbs more recently the Northern ones there is a group of guys that have been casing nice bikes and just driving in and muscling them into a van and go in broad day light! They have a few of them on camera and are working with the Po-Po to try and catch them...
She mentioned it to me because I was trying to explaining to her why we don't keep any info on the bike... no Registration... no Insurance card... NOTHING! Thats what you have a wallet for. I was buying a small wallet for just that reason one day with her and she just did not get it. I told her it stays with me and not the bike... getting that info would make it way to easy for them to resell the bike rather than just part it out.
